THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM

A CRAZY CIRCUS COMEDY

Delightfully retro and utterly original, Cirque Le Roux plunges us into a monochrome universe that fuses circus arts, Hollywood film noir and theatrical comedy.
In the autumn of 1937, we invite you to Miss Betty's sumptuous castle. Plagued by her afflicted husband, a buffoonish valet and a concupiscent courtier, she has come to the smoking room to isolate herself from the guests. Cigars, whisky, slapstick and remarkable acrobatics make up a turbulent love story. High society is shaken by a thousand twists and turns, and "the elephant in the room", tucked away in this decadent black atmosphere, takes up more and more space...
Cirque Le Roux chooses glamour and eccentricity to dress up its acrobatic prowess in chic. The four artists have mastered everything, from the set to the costumes, from the most perilous circus acts to the slightest hint of a plot that combines the eternal themes of love, friendship and the unspoken. We close the pages of Cirque Le Roux's first creation with emotion and admiration, looking forward to the second volume.
